Candy Apples. (Hand Photo)

For my hand photograph I wasn't really sure what i wanted to do, a lot of ideas were going through my head.  Then I came up with this idea to go along with my zombie photograph.  I named it candy apples because it looks like a candy apple in a kind of demented way.  The real meaning I wanted to use for this photograph was to symbolize starvation.  Here in America we take all the food we want and do not appreciate the food like we should.  I see people wasting food all the time, while there are starving people in the world who can't even get there hands on a candy apple.  People will fight for food, because without being able to access food all the time, you cannot live life, without worrying about being attacked for food, especially in third world countries.

These are the three original photographs I used to make my final piece.  I could not have done this photograph without help from my friend Emmy.  The fake blood took her forever to wash off....
